I found a photograph of this guy in a random Google image search. If you read about him (his name is Lewis Payne) he was not a very nice man. However! He has some seriously awesome hair. So I painted him.
You have such a fantastic hold on light/shadow and shape! I love how your style is borderline graphic illustration, but yet still recognizable as traditional painting.
